Last several years, my work experience at Federal University, Gashua, Yobe State, Nigeria was one of the most exciting yet exhausting experiences of my life. Although it was both emotionally and physically demanding, it instilled in me resolute desire to study and practice Islamic Banking and Finance. Here, I was inspired by the philanthropic and concerned specialists. They offered their time and energy to address a lot of financial difficulties and needs that people, mostly Muslim communities, are experienced in developing and developed countries. Through-out my experience in teaching at the university, I have been able to empathise with different conferences, seminar, and online classes for Islamic Banking and Finance. I interacted with several experts which some encourages me in researching the field of Islamic Finance and Economics, that will assist in developing my understanding of the importance of the holistic field of Islamic Finance as the multidisciplinary term provides. Besides, Islamic Banking and Finance's products become a new product where some people have a negative perception of the products. I introduced a page on different platforms advocating for free trainees and stressed on issues that are related to Islamic Finance and Economics and Islamic Banking and Finance. After graduation from the University of Salford, Manchester, the United Kingdom in the field of Islamic Banking and Finance, the persistence of individual in the field, such as Islamic Finance product is provide a solution to the real economy. Thus, inspired me to publish several Journals in the field. I took the Cambridge course on Wa'ad, under Cambridge Islamic Finance and several other Islamic Financial Institutions include Taif Digital Institute and Alhuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics (CIBE) and International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM). I thoroughly enjoyed the classes where I learned more about Islamic Finance and Islamic Banking and Economics. Furthermore, I regularly read articles on Islamic Finance and topical issue, which is leading me to organise research under my ability to take prudent decisions under findings of the investigation. I, therefore, helped to resurrect the university to become relevant to issue relating to Islamic Finance, and Islamic Banking and Economics as I have written more than 20 papers in the field. I believe indeed offers professional opportunities for networking help me to have better knowledge and understanding but also open my eyes more potential aspect of Islamic Economics and Finance in a global perceptive. I believe I fit with the programme considering the academic and life experiences based on my passion and maturity. Though my work experience, I have realised that Islamic Finance and Economics can be a challenging field that needs a vast understanding of Islamic religion and conventional finance for developing better performance in the area. Such is demanding sacrifices and times; nevertheless, I know our team is capacitated and motivated to succeed in this rewarding and intellectually vocation fulfilment.
